About Me
Budhaditya Basu
I am a post doctoral scholar at Iowa Neuroscience Institute in the University of Iowa. My research work focuses on the molecular mechanisms of long-term memory impairment in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.I code for biological data analysis, data visualization. I use high performance computer for handling big data like single-cell multiomics data, or spatial transcriptomics data. I am an avid R enthusiast.
Periodically I use vector graphics tool like adobe illustrator for scientific illustration and sketching graphical abstract.When I am not in lab, I read books and articles on history and economics. I am an ardent listener of shastriya sangeet. I love to play badminton.I am pursuing the research domain that amalgamates big data and neuroscience after my doctoral studies.
